KING OF THE MOUNTAIN

Now in its 24th year—and the 2nd since the passing of its founder, John Farr—the King of the Mountain race continues to honor his vision.

What began as John’s passion for cycling and his love for community has grown into a signature event that challenges riders and uplifts families across Clearfield County.

This one-of-a-kind, 5-mile uphill ride to the summit of Rockton Mountain offers participants both a test of endurance and a breathtaking experience. More importantly, it continues to be a vital tradition supporting the mission of Habitat for Humanity, helping to build strength, stability, and new stories for local families.

Who

King of the Mountain is a race that is available to cyclists both experienced and beginner. Due to the difficulty of the course and risk, riders must be 12 years of age and older

Participants meet at 5615 Park Street, Clearfield.  Registration and race preparations are in the Agriculture Building of the fairgrounds.  Race start is on Rt. 322 at base of mountain.
