CRITICAL REPAIRS
In Addition to building new homes, HFHCC also assists families with critical repairs to existing homes. These repairs help with issues that would otherwise leave families without adequate housing. While it is evaluated, income level is not a factor that would make a family ineligible to receive assistance with a critical repair. Each request for critical repairs are evaluated on a case-by-case basis by HFHCC management.

Habitat for Humanity’s Critical Home Repair program focuses on providing essential home maintenance and repairs for low-income homeowners—helping improve safety, accessibility, and comfort. Our work includes labor-based projects such as repairing steps, railings, porches, installing grab bars, and addressing trip hazards or other safety concerns. By assisting with these critical tasks, we help individuals remain in their homes with greater independence and dignity.
